Increasingly educators have children with special needs in their classrooms, often feeling unable to adequately and timely respond to the challenges pose by this situation. It is therefore scientifically pertinent to analyse the challenges and issues put to education professionals by the inclusion of children with special needs. This traineeship report was developed within the framework of the MSc in Pre- School Education and intends to address the inclusion of children with specific needs in Pre-School Education. As such, it became necessary to set key objectives for this report. The first objective is to implement activities through inclusive strategies in the kindergarten for children with specific needs; to know the inclusive process of a child with Cerebral Palsy in the kindergarten during the professionalizing practice, and to listen to the opinion of the child educators about the inclusion of children with specific needs in Pre-school Education. Using a mixed methodology, combining indirect observation and the implementation of a questionnaire survey, as well as direct observation by supervised practice in Pre-School Education, the perceptions of 35 pre-school children regarding the inclusion of children with special needs were identified and analysed. Summing up, educators should be prepared to respond to all children through initial or specialized training in the area, as well as being aware of the essential aspects for the inclusion of children with special needs.
